The Captains Notebook: Daily Log During Social Distancing Day 1 & 2
So far, the kids have stayed in their rooms — minus the mad dash to the pantry for snacks. I’m on the couch binge watching documentaries and trying to kick a headache.
So far so good. No sneezing, coughing or crazy symptoms. Social distancing seems to be working…. But time will tell if this continues to be a good idea. With all the natives on the same island, and no rescue boat coming, this could eventually become a not so great situation.
Day 2
The small people living in my house emerged to complain they were hungry. I threw some snacks their way and they scampered back to their respected spaces. Silence is golden, although the vacuum will have to come into service later to clean up the mess left by the small village people..
Update — I get text messages reminding me to cook dinner — apparently they are afraid to get to close.
The next several days should be fun…
