The Captains Notebook: Daily Log During Social Distancing Day 15
The village remains intact. As the Captain is writing this, I am hunkered down in the office, trying to keep what sanity I have left into one piece. At this point, its not looking very promising.
The toilet paper offerings seem to have fallen off for the time being. It seems the small village people might have finally come to the conclusion that the sacrifices were not working. Although it might have also been the threat of rations coming from the island elders that stopped the sacrificing to the porcelain throne.
While the small village people are engaged in online learning, there have been a few hiccups that have occurred. One of the small tribes members managed to cut one class for the entire week, leaving the village elders to try and figure out how that happened. While we have not figured out how this was managed, the small village person was punished, with banishment to his hut for the remainder of the day.
The other small village person has seemed to lose his knack for throwing out witty comebacks. He seems to be missing the time spent outside, although we did promise a walk on the battlefield when the weather gets a little nicer. Right now it is to cold to be wandering around outside.
